f150 Power Steps
As expected the newest F150 model of popular carmaker Ford delivers a strong combination of style, comfort, strong performance, ride and handling. Without a doubt, the 2008 is a much-improved version of its 2004 predecessor. It has a wider rack and new rack-and-pinion steering. The suspensions react more positively to pavement flaws by rebounding rapidly and only as far as necessary-- enabling it to recover quickly from things that go bump in the night.
There are also three available engines to choose from: a 4.2-liter V6, a 4.6-liter V8 or a 5.4-liter V8; three different bed lengths -- 5.5, 6.5 or eight feet, and six different trim levels -- XL, STX, XLT, FX2/FX4, Lariat and King Ranch. For those who want to take it up a notch, there is a special edition Harley Davidson model.
Body styles are also offered in three styles: regular cab, super cab and supercrew. Five trim levels are available: workhorse XL, youth-oriented STX, mainstream XLT, offroad FX4 and luxurious Lariat. A new Lariat package, Lariat Limited, adds 22-inch wheels, a billet-style grille, stainless steel running boards and unique interior upholstery patterns.
And if there is one thing Ford takes seriously, it is their regard for safety. There are four-wheel antilock brakes and front seat belt pretensioners are standard. Dual-stage front airbags work with an occupant classification system sensor.
