sierra Power Steps
To catch up with competition, the Sierra underwent a thorough facelift in 2007 and most of the major redesigns then has been carried over in the 2008 model. New features include n available electronic stability system, pedals that adjust, the top of the line 403 horsepower engine, an All Terrain trim level, and on the extended cab, access doors that open to 170 degrees.
The new GMC Sierra is available in a variety of configurations ranging from $17,175 to $41,300. Interested buyers can also choose from different engine options, including a 4.3-liter V6 with 195 hp; a 4.8-liter V8 with 295 hp; a 5.3-liter V8 with 315 hp, a 6-liter V8 with 367 hp, and a 6.2-liter V8 with 403 hp. As for the body style, choices also include regular, extended, and crew cab with short, standard, and long cargo boxes available.
Unlike other SUVs, the Sierra noticeably lacks the stability system and is lacking in airbags --which are now common safety features for SUVs. Other than that, the Sierra is still undeniably spacious and comfortable. Still a family car of choice. |
