Titan Power Steps

Needless to say, the Chevrolet Tahoe is big with a repoerted cargo capacity of60.3 cubic feet and a maximum payload of 1835. And while this vehicle is highly unlikely to save you gas dollars, it will still account for fuel efficiency for carrying as many people or cargo items as you require. And the best part of all is the fact that you get to do all these it utter comfort -- safely and with all the available amenities.
In many ways, the Tahoe is said to be GM's biggest news. Primarily because this is the first time that anyone has taken a true hybrid system and applied it to a full-size truck. The two-mode system generates around 300 hp and consists of an electric motor/generator and a Vortec V-8 OHV engine, using electric power only, engine power only, or a combination thereof at low speeds and light loads. According to reports, GM is claiming 25 percent fuel savings compared to conventional Tahoes, improvements aided by such features as a 0.4-inch lower ride height, low rolling resistance tires, a streamlined hood leading edge, and a liftgate and hood made of aluminum.
For interiors, the Tahoe carries an AM/FM/CD combo and XM Satellite Radio, OnStar, and an auxiliary input jack. The drivers also get to manually control car climate as there are separate settings for the driver and front passenger as well as a backseat unit for both heat and AC. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and a cargo mat is included.
And since safety is a paramount concern for GM, the Tahoe carries a whole range of safety features including a cutoff sensor for the front passenger's airbag, side curtain bags, dual stage driver bag, rollover sensor, and side guard door beams. The rear doors are outfitted with child safety locks and the Tahoe has a Passkey(R) III Engine Immobilizer. You get keyless entry on the fob, remote control of the liftgate release, and illuminated entry via remote.
The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe is available in an MSRP range of $34,095 to $47,585 in five trim levels (LS, LT1, LT2, LT3, and LTZ) as both a 2WD and 4WD vehicle. The base LS 2WD comes equipped with a 4.8 liter V8 producing 295 horsepower while the 4WD model jumps to a 5.3-liter V8 and 320 hp, the same engine used in all other variations of the Tahoe. (A four-speed automatic transmission is standard across the boards.)
